My first show while working at Twin Pines, where I was mainly responsible for the ship-sinking sequence featured in the second episode of the series.

I was tasked with developing setups to streamline the simulation of the sinking ships, with a particular focus on the sails, ropes, and masts as they collapsed and interacted with the surrounding elements. The goal was to create flexible setups that could be efficiently adapted across multiple shots.

The sequence involved a combination of FX and CFX work across several fully CG shots, all requiring a photorealistic look. It was a challenging task for a small team of just three FX artists, but a great opportunity to develop efficient workflows while delivering a demanding sequence.
